Trinamool Congress (AITC)will field 37 star campaigners led by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee , party’s National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee and a bunch of film actors and actresses for Tripura assembly elections..
A tweet from the official page of AITC Tripura said, “A new era of development is coming to Tripura by following the ideals of Mamata Banerjee”.
“Several top leaders of our party are going to campaign in Tripura with a message of change ahead of the assembly elections”, it added.
Apart from Mamata and Abhishek, TMC leaders Subrata Bakshi, Sudip Bandopadhyay, Sougata Roy, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Firhad Hakim, Bratya Basu, Kunal Ghosh, Shibaprasad Choudhury, Swapan Debnath, Debangshu Bhattacharya, Sudip Raha, Ripun Bora, Mahua Moitra, Sashi Panja, Samir Chakraborty, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, Manash Ranjan Bhunia, Siddiqullah Chowdhury and Mausam Benazir Noor are going to campaign for Trinamool Congress candidates in Tripura in a bid to ensure victory of the party candidates.
Part from that the list includes a good number of famous Tollywood stars namely; Deepak Adhikary (Dev), Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan, Sohom Chakraborty, Raj Chakraborty, Sayantika Banerjee, June Malia, Koushani Mukherjee, Sayoni Ghosh and Mummun Sen. Cricketer Manoj Tiwari and famous singer and TV star Aditi Munshi are also going to campaign in Tripura.
Tripura Trinamool Congress has put up candidates in 27 assembly constituencies of the 60-member State assembly in view of the assembly elections to be held on February 16 next.
