New Delhi/UNI: Congress President Mallikaarjun Kharge on Monday raised a wide range of issues, including alleged Chinese incursion, terror funding, and how to deal with the fugitive at the all-party meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on India assuming the G20 Presidency.

At the outset, the Congress chief congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on assuming the G20 Presidency, party sources said.

It is a matter of pride for the nation that India has got the presidentship on rotation basis . India will be holding meeting over 40 places.We should extend our hospitality in the best way , and use this opportunity to showcase our development as a nation, sources quoted Kharge as saying.

Mentioning China, Kharge said, China is a member of G20. India should use the opportunity to stop China from border incursions and aggression.

He also said that India should use this opportunity to secure permanent membership in United Nations Security Council.

On terror funding, Kharge without naming any country said, Some nations indulge in terror fundings. India should raise this issue to defeat such forces.

He also raised about the fugitive issue and said there should be a common agreement (G20 members) to deal with the fugitive, the sources quoted Kharge as saying.

Kharge added, India should use the opportunity to attract foreign investment.

Claiming that people going with tourist visas in the US had to wait for 900 days for approval, Kharge said, India should use its influence to find a solution to this problem.

Among others, the Congress chief mentioned climate change and Ukraine -Russia war, sources added.

India assumed the presidency of G20 on Dec 1.
