Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today felicitated Indian cricketers Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Radha Yadav for their stellar performances in helping India lift its first ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup title.
At a special ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s official residence, Varsha, in Mumbai, each player was honoured with a shawl, bouquet and a cheque of 2.25 crore rupees.
Chief Minister Fadnavis congratulated the players for making the country proud and said the World Cup victory has brought immense joy to Maharashtra.
