Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that the sacrifice and valour of Sahibzades of Guru Govind Singh will be included in the school curriculum in MP. In the programme organised at the BJP office today on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, the Chief Minister said that earlier our society had made the mistake of celebrating Children’s Day on some other day but now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has corrected the mistake by announcing to celebrate Children’s Day on the 26th of December.

Meanwhile, after paying obeisance at Hamidia Gurudwara in Bhopal on the Balidan Diwas of Sahibzades of Guru Govind Singh, Mr. Yadav said that this is a day of valour, devotion, faith and trust.

The Chief Minister also attended the Veer Bal Diwas State level programme at Bharat Bhavan in the capital Bhopal in the presence of religious leaders of the Sikh community and other dignitaries. In the programme, a performance by Kirtan Jatha and a film based on the sacrifice of Sahibzades were screened. Symbolic demonstration of sword fighting was also performed. On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, various activities were organised in the government schools of the State to remember the brave martyrs and honour them from the 16th of December till today.
