Sheopur: An approximately six-year-old male cheetah, which was named Uday, died at Kuno National Park on Sunday, making it the second such fatality over the recent past.
Confirming the incident, JS Chauhan a senior Forest Department officer told UNI, This morning, it was reported that the carnivore suddenly took ill. Wildlife experts executed a medical examination. Treatment was initiated but the animal succumbed. The autopsy report is awaited.
Last month, an approximately five-year-old female cheetah was claimed by renal infection.
