Srinagar: Security forces have arrested the longest surviving Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist in south Kashmirs Shopian district, police said on Sunday.
Police said Nasir Ahmad Sher Gojri alias Qasim Bhai a resident of Homhuna Nagbal and active since 2017 was arrested jointly by police and Army.
Shopian Police Army arrested one of the longest surviving HM terrorist active since 2017 namely Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri @ Qasim Bhai S/o Ali Mohd R/o HomHuna Nagbal, involved in various criminal cases. Case registered investigation set in motion to unearth the terror network, a police tweet said.
