Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said a Law University will come up in Tripura soon. The proposed Law University will start functioning from next academic session.

 The Minister said all preparations have been put in the pipeline. The varsity will start the academic activities from the Judicial Academy Building, Narsingarh from the next academic session.

Nath said, a Bill related to the Law University would be presented in the next Assembly session. 

According to the Social media posts of the minister the campus of Law University would be set up at the place of TIT building and a new building for the TIT would be constructed adjacent to the Narsingarh school ground—works for both the buildings would take place together.

The residential complex would be built at the vacant place in the backside of the Judicial Academy.

The Education Minister on Friday held threadbare discussions in a meeting with MLA Bamutia Krishnadhan Das, Secretary and Director of Education department, SDM Mohanpur, Principal of TIT, chairman of Narsingarh school management committee and headmaster of the school.
