The Sampoornata Abhiyan was launched with great enthusiasm on July 4, 2024, at the Ganganagar RD Block, Dhalai. The initiative aims to achieve 100% saturation in six key performance indicators (KPIs) within three months, transforming the block into a model of health, empowerment, and prosperity.

The day began with the Sampoornata Yatra at 9:30 AM, where around 100 government officials, SHG members, and local club members marched from Ganganagar English Medium Class XII School to the Office of the School Inspector, TTAADC, and back. Participants donned T-shirts emblazoned with the Sampoornata Abhiyan logo and carried placards with messages in the local Kokborok language, accompanied by an announcer spreading awareness.

Following the Yatra, dignitaries including Mr. Rajib Sen, Senior Advisor NITI Aayog, were welcomed at 11:00 AM. The program continued with the Sampoornata Pledge and a short film on the Abhiyan. Key officers addressed the gathering, discussing strategies for achieving the six KPIs in health, agriculture, social welfare, and development.

Local eminent personalities, including the MLA, delivered inspiring speeches, followed by the BDO’s address on the way forward. The event concluded with a selfie and signature campaign and an exhibition featuring health, ICDS, and agriculture stalls, open until 3:00 PM.
