In the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament, India have set a target of 189 runs for Oman in their final Group A match of Asia Cup 2025 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Earlier, India scored 188 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated twenty overs. Sanju Samson scored 56 runs in the 45 balls while Abhishek Sharma scored quickfire 38 in 15 balls. For Oman, Shah Faisal, Jiten Ramanandi and Aamir Kaleem took two wickets each.
Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Jasprit Bumrah is rested, with Harshit Rana coming into the playing eleven. Arshdeep Singh has replaced Varun Chakravarthy in the team. With four points from two games, India have already sealed Super 4 qualification, while Oman have been eliminated. Indian team led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, is dominant in the group stage, opening with a high-scoring win against the UAE and it also defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in its last match.
