In Ladakh, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs & Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, paid a heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of Operation Vijay at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras yesterday. The visit commemorated the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers during the Kargil War of 1999.
During his visit, Mr. Rijiju interacted with Army personnel, expressing deep admiration and gratitude for their dedication and service. Emphasizing the importance of honouring these national heroes, Rijiju added, “They gave their lives, and the nation exists peacefully. Hence, every Indian must come once in their lifetime to pay respect to the heroes of India.”
