Jalil Debbarma, Mangal Debbarma, Pankaj Debbarma, Rathindra Debbarma and Pandit Debbarma who were indiscriminately attacked by Bhupendra with hammer sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital by the poice and Fire Service While four of the injured are being treated in Khowai District hospital, Pankaj Debbarma had to be sent to GB Hospital in critical condition.

Police could not detain Bhupendra till filing the report but a massive search was on. Police also alerted the people and asked them to be careful if they saw Bhupendra around.

Only recently one youth under the influence of drugs killed four persons in Kamalpur. He was arrested by the police.
