The Kho Kho World Cup 2025 will begin at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi today. This inaugural edition backed by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), will feature 20 men’s and 19 women’s teams.
The Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) has named a 15-member squad each for the men’s and women’s competitions. The Indian men’s team led by Pratik Waikar is in Group A with Nepal, Peru, Brazil and Bhutan while the women’s team led by Priyanka Ingle is in Group A with Iran, Malaysia and the Republic of Korea. The top two teams from all four groups will qualify for the quarter-finals. The finals will be on the 19th of January.
Today, the Indian men’s team will start their campaign with the opening match against Nepal at 8:30 PM. You can catch the live streaming on the DD Sports TV channel.
