The junior doctors of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata have started the telemedicine service today. This service will be open from 10 am to 2 pm every day. The junior doctors are still on strike in protest against the rape and murder of a PGT doctor on the 9th of last month at RG Kar Medical College.
They are demanding the arrest of all the persons who are associated with this crime. Kolkata Police had arrested Sanjay Roy in this incident and he was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation CBI. CBI is currently investigating the case.
