Agartala, Nov 30: Finally, the Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT) has published provisional results of the examinations for the Group-C and Group-D posts.

Though the merit lists didn’t contain the total number of candidates passed in the examinations, the JRBT published the notification with the roll numbers of the provisionally qualified aspirants.

The written examination for Group-D (MTS) and Group-C posts were held on August 20 and August 22 last year respectively.

The results were likely to be announced long ago but a court proceeding and other issues had delayed the process. There was a suppressed resentment among the aspirants over the delay. Besides, several groups of the aspiring candidates had staged protests demanding publication of the results.

According to the notification, the schedule of the programme for document verification and interview will be notified shortly. The list of provisionally qualified candidates has been prepared following 1:6 ratio i,e. six times the number of vacancies as per the recent cabinet decision.
