Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has emphasized the importance of a unified governmental strategy to eradicate terrorism and dismantle the terror ecosystem in the Union Territory. The Lieutenant Governor said this during the Passing Out Parade cum Attestation ceremony of Recruit Constables of the Border Security Force at the Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF Kashmir, in Humhama, Budgam on Saturday. The ceremony marked the induction of 629 recruits into the Border Security Force.

In his address, the Lieutenant Governor asked the new recruits to discharge their responsibilities toward the nation and the people with utmost dedication and sensitivity. He also highlighted the stringent measures taken to dismantle the terror ecosystem and foil the nefarious designs of the enemies. He said that a massive crackdown has been launched against narco-terror networks and significant progress has been made in choking terror finance and taking exemplary action against those aiding and abetting terrorism.
