A total of 12 medal events are scheduled on the third day of the ongoing Khelo India University Games in Rajasthan, with swimming featuring the highest number of medal events-seven. Athletes from Jain University, Karnataka, have delivered an outstanding performance so far, placing the university at the top of the medal tally with 14 medals, including eight gold and two silver. Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, is currently in second place with nine medals, including four gold. Lovely Professional University, Punjab, stands in third position with six medals, including three gold. Athletes from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, have secured two medals each. Out of 222 participating universities, athletes from 27 universities have won medals, and 12 of them have secured at least one gold medal. The fifth edition of KIUG 2025 is being hosted across seven cities in Rajasthan. A total of 4,448 athletes are competing in 23 medal events. The games are being organised under the supervision of the Sports Authority of India, in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan and the State Sports Council.
