Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan opted for an OTT exploration with Jaane Jaan, a film directed by Sujoy Ghosh, who is credited for his thrilling plots in Kahaani, Kahaani 2, Badla.
The films trailer, which was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday, portrays Kareena as a murder-suspect in Kalimpong, a district in West Bengals northern part.
Kareena, who is Maya DSouza in the film, is stalked by Naren, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, who senses something wrong in Mayas place.
In the meantime, Vijay Varma, who plays a cop, comes to Kalimpong in search of Mayas husband and eventually falls in love with her. Vijay and Jaideep were shown as old friends.
The film is slated to release on Netflix on September 21.
