In IPL cricket, Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Mumbai Indians by two wickets in Raipur last night. Put in to bat first, Mumbai Indians posted 166 for seven in their allotted 20 overs, riding on Tilak Varma’s 57 off 42 balls. For Bengaluru, Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed a four-wicket haul.
In reply, Royal Challengers Bengaluru overhauled the target on the last ball of the match, losing eight wickets. Krunal Pandya top-scored with 73 runs. For Mumbai Indians, Corbin Bosch scalped four wickets.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was adjudged player of the match.
Earlier, in another fixture, Chennai Super Kings defeated Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets. Put in to bat first, Lucknow posted 203 for eight in their allotted 20 overs, riding on Josh Inglis’s 85 off 33 balls and Shahbaz Ahmed’s 43 runs. Chennai overhauled the target in 19.2 overs, powered by Urvil Patel’s 65 off 23 balls.
Today, Punjab Kings will face Delhi Capitals at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, at 7:30 PM.
