Close on the heels of the IPFT’s meeting with North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) chairman Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati a team of the BJP’s alliance partner met  Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Thursday.

The meeting dwelt on over all development of the Indigenous people, said the Chief Minister in his Facebook post.

He also mentioned that the strategies for development of the rural economy through start-ups and new job opportunities were discussed.

 “Had a meaningful discussion with alliance partner, IPFT MLAs on the overall development of indigenous community. Discussed the strategies for development of rural economy, which will pave the way for the emergence of indigenous start ups and create new job opportunities,” the Chief Minister wrote on his social media handle.

A delegation of IPFT led by Cabinet minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia held a meeting with the NEDA chairman and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at his official residence in Assam on Thursday. General secretary of IPFT Shukla Charan Noatia was also part of the delegation. The update was shared by the official Facebook handle of IPFT Tripura.
