Inquiry Committee Formed to Probe Violence During Gen Z Protest

 Inquiry committee formed to investigate today’s incident of Gen Z protest turning violent. The government of Nepal has decided to form an inquiry committee into the incident that took place after the demonstration by Gen Z on Monday turned violent. On Monday evening, the Cabinet meeting took place in the PM’s residence in Baluwatar where it was decided that if the committee investigates the incident within 15 days, the TOR (Terms of Reference) will be submitted to the government.
Meanwhile, Nepal’s Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has informed the Nepali Congress party chief that he will not hold the post taking moral responsibility of huge loss of Human wealth.This was said by the Home Minister at the meeting of officials and ex-officers held at the residence of Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba on Monday evening.

The leader gave more grief than Meta.’ The Gen Z protest turned ugly when a few youth demonstrators climbed the National Assembly walls in Baneshwor resulting in Police resorting to water cannons, tear gas and firing of rubber bullets.
