Visakhapatnam/IBNS: Twenty-two-year old Yashasvi Jaiswal became the third youngest Indian to hit a double hundred in Test cricket during the first innings of the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

Jaiswal follows Vinod Kambli and Sunil Gavaskar in the list of youngest Indians to score 200 in a Test innings.

Jaiswal, who reached his 100 with a six, hit a boundary to slam his maiden 200 receiving a loud cheer from the crowd and his dressing room.

The southpaw, who single-handedly led Indias batting with no half century from the other end, was dismissed for 209 off 290 balls.
