In Squash, India’s Tanvi Khanna and Veer Chotrani advanced to the semi-finals of the Indian Open 2026 with impressive performances at the CCI Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai today.
The 29-year-old Tanvi Khanna continued her strong run, registering another upset by defeating fourth seed Ainaa Amani of Malaysia 3-1 in the quarterfinals to book her place in the last four. In the men’s draw, fourth seed Veer Chotrani cruised into the semi-finals with a dominant 3-0 victory over seventh seed Mohamed Sharaf of Egypt in his quarterfinal match.
Meanwhile, India’s Anahat Singh is set to face Malaysia’s Sehveetrraa Kumar later this evening in another quarterfinal clash. In other results, Joshna Chinappa bowed out in the quarterfinals after going down 1-3 to Egypt’s third seed Nadien Elhammamy.
