In Wimbledon Tennis, India’s N Sriram Balaji entered the second round of the Men’s Doubles event in London today. Balaji and his Mexican partner, Miguel Reyes-Varela, defeated the American duo of Learner Tien and Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-4, 6-4 in an opening round match. In the next round, Balaji and Reyes-Varela will meet fourth seeds Marcel Granollers of Spain and Horacio Zeballos of Argentina. Yesterday, Yuki Bhambri and Rithvik Bollipall registered victories in their respective opening round matches to enter the second round of Men’s Doubles. However, Rohan Bopanna suffered a first-round exit.
