The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is witnessing unprecedented fan engagement in India, with tickets sold out for two of India’s biggest group-stage matches. ICC has officially declared that all the tickets for India’s clash against Australia in Visakhapatnam, scheduled on 12th of October and against England in Indore on 19th of October have sold out.

Fans purchased 15,087 tickets for the Australia encounter and 17,859 for the England match, ensuring packed houses at both venues. Earlier, a record 22,843 spectators turned up in Guwahati for the India-Sri Lanka match, which was the highest-ever attendance for a group-stage game at an ICC Women’s event.

ICC Chief Executive Officer Sanjog Gupta said the turnout in Guwahati and the early sell-outs in Indore and Vizag show how far the women’s game has come, and how much further it can go.

He further said that ICC is committed to building on this momentum, from record prize money to landmark initiatives, to ensure the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 leaves a legacy that’s truly global and lasting.
