India’s growth rests on productive citizens through inclusive education, says Union Minister Hardeep Puri

 
Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that education must remain at the heart of India’s development journey. Addressing a seminar on School Education in the country in New Delhi, Mr Puri stressed that education is fundamental to the nation’s growth. He underlined that India’s journey from a four trillion dollar economy today to a 35 trillion dollar economy by 2047 rests on nurturing a generation of responsible and productive citizens through universal, high-quality, and inclusive education. The Minister said, significant gains in literacy, enrolment and school infrastructure achieved since constitutional guarantee of Right to Education.
