In the Indian bullion market, gold and silver prices dropped nearly 2% last week. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, Gold futures for the June contract shed more than 1.9% during the week to settle at 1,55,575 rupees per 10 grams. Meanwhile, Silver futures for the July contract lost 1.8 per cent over the week to close at 2,66,998 rupees per kilogram.
At the Commodity Exchange (COMEX), Silver futures for the July contract dropped 0.4 per cent to end at 75.88 dollars per troy ounce. Gold futures for the August contract rose 0.8 per cent during the week to settle at 4,593 dollars per troy ounce.
