In wrestling, Indian grapplers will spearhead their campaign at the Ulaanbaatar Open Ranking Series tournament, beginning today in Mongolia.
India has fielded wrestlers across men’s freestyle, women’s wrestling and Greco-Roman categories for the four-day competition, the third stop of the 2026 United World Wrestling Ranking Series.
Six Asian Games-qualified wrestlers will be in action, including Mansi Ahlawat in the women’s 62 kg category, Priya Malik in 76 kg, Mukul Dahiya in men’s 86 kg, and Greco-Roman wrestlers Aman, Sunil Kumar and Nitesh Kumar.
In women’s wrestling, Meenakshi Goyat will compete in the 53 kg category, while former Asian champion Manisha Bhanwala will feature in the 57 kg division.
Veteran Greco-Roman wrestler Sunil Kumar will lead India’s challenge in the 87 kg category.
