Indian Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu Wins Gold at Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships with 193kg Lift

Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Mirabai Chanu lifted a total weight of 193 kg to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships in Ahmedabad today. Chanu achieved a record-breaking performance to expectedly win the gold medal at the Commonwealth Championships.
 
 
The 31-year-old, who moved down from the 49kg weight class, which doesn’t feature in the Olympics anymore, was competing for the first time since her fourth place finish in the Paris Games last August.
