Indian high commission in Bangladesh is set to resume accepting visa application from today (11 August) Wednesday as the government has decided to lift the ongoing lockdown. All applications except for tourist visa will be accepted.
The Indian high commission in Dhaka revealed the information on Tuesday on its official Facebook page.
“In view of the lifting of lockdown restrictions, our India Visa Application Centers (IVAC) will resume operations from 11 Aug 2021,” it said.
From Wednesday, the Indian high commission said, applicants do not need to take any appointment or permission to apply for visa at the IVAC.
Meanwhile, civil aviation authorities of both the country are also planning to resume the air connectivity between the two neighbouring countries under air bubble.
