In the Indian Super League, ISL football, Punjab FC and Odisha FC played out a 1-1 draw at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar last evening. Punjab’s Greek striker Petros Giakoumakis scored in first-half injury time after Odisha’s Rahul K.P. was sent off for a foul.

However, Odisha’s Isak Ralte equalized in the 51st minute with a well-placed shot. Despite a dominating start, Punjab couldn’t capitalize on their numerical advantage. Odisha goalkeeper Amrinder Singh made key saves, while Punjab’s Ravi Kumar fumbled Ralte’s shot for the equalizer.

The result leaves Punjab in 9th place with 24 points from 19 games, and Odisha in 7th with 26 points from 20 matches. Tomorrow, Mumbai City FC will face Goa FC. Mumbai City and Goa have faced each other in 26 matches in the League. Out of these 26 games, Mumbai City have won 12 whereas Goa have come out victorious on 7 occasions. 7 matches ended with draw.
