Indian boxers Sachin Siwach & Vishvanath Suresh advance to quarterfinals in Asian Boxing Championships

In the Asian Boxing Championships, Indian boxers Sachin Siwach and Vishvanath Suresh advanced to the quarterfinals in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, today. Siwach secured a hard-fought 4-1 split decision victory over Buyandalai Bayarkhuu in the 60kg round of 16 to reach the last eight. He will next face Cheng-Wei Lee. Suresh progressed to the quarterfinals with a dominant 5-0 unanimous-decision win over Bekzat Ergeshov. He will next take on reigning world champion Sanzhar Tashkenbay.
