In FIH Men’s Pro League Hockey, India thrashed Pakistan 7-1 at the Lee Valley Hockey and Centre in London last night. Abu Bakar gave Pakistan the lead in the first quarter, converting a penalty corner. India had seven different goal scorers in the match.
Sukhjeet Singh and Harmanpreet Singh turned the tide against Pakistan with a goal each in the second quarter, before Hardik Singh, Jugraj Singh, Abhishek, and Rajkumar Pal found the back of the net to add four goals in the third quarter. Dilpreet Singh hammered the last nail in the coffin in the fourth quarter. India will now face England tomorrow.
