At World of Coffee Dubai 2025, held from February 10 to 12, India’s coffee industry has mounted its most ambitious international presentation. The Coffees of India Pavilion, led by the Coffee Board of India, features a robust delegation of industry partners showcasing the nation’s diverse and high-quality coffee offerings.

The pavilion presents an extensive selection of Arabica and Robusta varieties, organic coffees, speciality blends, and innovative value-added products. With more than 120 exhibitors representing 43 companies, the showcase underscores India’s growing prominence in the global coffee market. Visitors can explore distinctive coffee varieties from the Western and Eastern Ghats, including speciality coffees from traditional regions such as Kerala and Karnataka, as well as emerging areas like Araku Valley and Nagaland. The exhibition highlights a range of innovative products, from coffee mugs made from used beans to whisky-flavoured coffee, while also showcasing initiatives that promote women’s and tribal empowerment.

With support from coffee estates, industry leaders, and stakeholders across India, this event marks a significant milestone in India’s efforts to expand its global footprint in the coffee sector. From small-scale farmers to large value-added enterprises, every segment of the Indian coffee industry is actively participating, highlighting the nation’s rich heritage, sustainable practices, and premium quality coffee offerings. The pavilion was inaugurated by Shri Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India in Dubai.

“We are showcasing sustainably grown Indian coffees and speciality varieties targeted toward Gulf nations and other global markets,” said Dr. Babu Reddy, Deputy Director of Market Research at the Coffee Board of India, Bangalore. “As a government organisation under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, we facilitate the coffee sector’s growth across the entire value chain, focusing on increasing production, improving productivity and quality, and promoting Indian coffees globally. The event features our shade-grown, hand-picked, and sun-dried coffees, with cupping sessions for business professionals and visitors to experience the flavours firsthand.”

World of Coffee Dubai, now in its fourth edition from the Dubai World Trade Centre, is set to be the biggest ever, with a record 1,980 participating companies, including 131 new exhibitors. The MENA region is emerging as a key player in the global coffee trade, with events like this driving the promotion of speciality coffee. The branded coffee shop market in the region grew by 11% last year. Several Indian companies are also exhibiting independently at the event, further cementing India’s significant presence at one of the world’s premier coffee gatherings.
