Building on their efforts, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar put together a resolute, unbeaten partnership that ultimately ensured the match ended in a hard-fought draw.
Ben Stokes was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ for his five-wicket haul and a brilliant knock of 141 runs. England remains 2-1 up in the series. The final Test will be played at The Oval, beginning on Friday.
