The two nations will next meet during their T20 World Cup group stage clash in New York on June 9.
With mercury around the heated match already rising, ticket prices have already touched astronomical figures in resale markets.
The original price of tickets was placed at $6. The price of premium tickets for the match was set at $400 without taxes.
On the resale website, VIP tickets for the same match are being offered for more than $40,000 each with fees close to $10,000 bringing the total price to more than $50,000. The cheapest ticket for the Pakistan vs. India match on StubHub is $1,259, as of Friday afternoon, reported USA Today.
On SeatGeek, the highest priced ticket for the Pakistan vs. India match is close to $175,000 with $50,000 in fees bringing the total price to a little less than a quarter of a million dollars, the American newspaper reported.
The remaining ticket sale started on February 22
Remaining tickets after the public ballot went on sale on February 22, at 10h00am Antigua Standard Time.
Tickets are available to matches at venues in West Indies, with limited tickets available at USA venues following the ballot.
West Indies and the USA will host the tournament June 1 to June 29.
