India lead by 244 runs against England  in the second innings –

In Cricket, India will resume their play at the overnight score of 64 for 1 on Day 4 with an overall lead of 244 runs in the second innings against hosts England in the second Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The match will start at 3:30 PM.
 
On Day 3 of the second Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, K L Rahul and Karun Nair were at the crease at the draw of stumps yesterday.
 
Earlier, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj took six wickets while Akash Deep bagged four wickets to restrict England to 407 in their first innings. For England, Jamie Smith posted 184 off 207 balls while Harry Brook registered 158 off 234 balls. In their first innings, India posted a mammoth 587-run total against the Hosts.   
             
England currently leads the five-match series 1-Nil, having secured a five-wicket victory in the opening Test at Headingly, Leeds.
