New Delhi : India-China bilateral trade has crossed $ 100 billion for the second year in the first nine months of 2022 while Indias trade deficit widened to more than $ 75 billion, media reports said citing data released by Chinas General Administration of Customs (GAC).
The total bilateral trade rose to $ 103.63 billion, a 14.6 percent increase against last year during the same period.
The data released by Chinas General Administration of Customs (GAC) showed exports to India grew to $ 89.66 billion, up 31 percent, while Indias exports in the past nine months stood at $ 13.97 billion, sliding 36.4 percent, a report in the media said.
Last year, India-China bilateral trade jumped to a record high level of over $ 125 billion crossing the $ 100 billion in a year.
Chinas exports to India have been rising steadily despite the strain in relations due to a military standoff following Chinese aggression in eastern Ladakh.
