The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and Bihar today.
It also predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Kerala and Mahe. The weather agency said, Northwest India can experience light and moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds likely over till 26th June.
Southwest monsoon has further advanced over most parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, some parts of Punjab and the entire Ladakh.
