IMD issues orange alert for heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds in North India tomorrow

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and gusty winds over several parts of North India tomorrow. Thunderstorm accompanied by hailstorm is also expected over  Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Vidarbha. The Met Department also predicted heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms and gusty winds over Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow.
Meanwhile, thundersquall with gusty winds has been forecast over Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, East and West Rajasthan, and Gangetic West Bengal.
