IMD Forecasts Isolated Thunderstorms with Lightning Over Kerala and Mahe for Next 2–3 Days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places over Kerala and Mahe for the next two to three days. In the Northwest and Central parts of the country, there will be a gradual rise in maximum temperature by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next three days. And squally weather is likely to prevail over the Gulf of Mannar and Comorin area, adjoining the Equatorial Indian Ocean, along and off the west Sri Lanka coast and parts of the southeast Bay of Bengal today.
