India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. IMD predicted heavy rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. According to IMD, Bihar, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Karnataka and West Madhya Pradesh can experience thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds.
