India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat during the next 7 days. Met department said there is likelihood of extremely heavy falls over Konkan and Goa, Ghat area of Madhya Maharashtra till the 19th of this month.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall will continue over south peninsular India during next couple of days with extremely heavy falls over Telangana today. Coastal Karnataka is likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall during the next two days.
The weatherman said a fresh low Pressure area is likely to from over northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast tomorrow leading to increase in rainfall activity over eastern and central India. Meanwhile, parts of Delhi witnessed light rain this afternoon.
