IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall Across Southern States Till October 20

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over parts of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal today. Similar weather conditions over these regions are likely to continue till the 20th of this month. According to the weather agency, Interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Odisha, Telangana, Coastal Konkan, Goa, and Maharashtra are also expected to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds today. The Met department has advised fishermen not to go to the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and adjoining sea areas till the 19th of this month.
