India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal tomorrow. The weather agency has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning at isolated places over Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep tomorrow. The Met Department said that Cold wave conditions are likely to prevail over Madhya Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh till 20th of November.
Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to be in a very poor category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded 383 as of 8 pm today. In view of the poor air quality, the Commission for Air Quality Management has imposed Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan in the national capital and adjoining areas.
