The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heatwave conditions over Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh for the next two days. IMD said hot and humid weather conditions is likely to prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Kerala, Mahe, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal for the next two to three days.
Meanwhile, the Met department also predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds over Telangana, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow. Similar conditions are expected to prevail over Parts of the North Eastern Region till tomorrow.
