In the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup, New Zealand will take on Sri Lanka in a group 2 super 8 match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo today. The match will start at 7 PM.
Earlier, England defeated Pakistan by two wickets in a Group Two Super 8 match at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka last night. England overhauled the target of 165 runs, losing 8 wickets and 5 balls to spare.
Playing captain’s knock, Harry Brook made dazzling 100 off 51 balls while Liam Dawson picked up 3 wickets for England.
Earlier, electing to bat first, Pakistan scored 164 for loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan scored 63 off 45 while Shaheen Afridi picked up 3 wickets for Pakistan.
