In a shocking incident, skeletal remains were recovered from the tranquil waters of the holy Kalyan Sagar Dighi at the Tripura Sundari temple, triggering high sensation and raising questions about the mysterious discovery.

The unsettling find took place on Wednesday morning when locals and pilgrims near the sacred Dighi spotted human skull floating in the water. The sighting immediately led to a flurry of activity, with news spreading rapidly throughout the area.

Concerned citizens wasted no time in alerting the authorities, prompting a swift response from the local Radha Kishorepur Police Station. A team of police officials hurried to the scene to investigate the matter.

Upon learning of the incident, the chief priest of Udaipur Tripura Sundari temple, Chandan Chakraborty, along with Matabari Panchayat chief Mantu Das and other temple trust authorities, rushed to the spot.

“The incident is completely shocking and unexpected. Moreover, without any confirmation, nothing can be said in this regard,” commented Chief Priest Chandan Chakraborty while addressing the reporters.

Chandan Chakraborty further added that if the skeletal remains are confirmed to be of human origin, the proper rituals of ‘Suddhikaran’ (Purification) will be performed on the holy waters of the temple.

To delve deeper into the mystery, the police recovered the skeleton and transferred it to a nearby hospital for further examination. Initially suspecting foul play, the authorities later confirmed that the recovered head indeed belonged to a human skeleton.

While the investigation is currently underway to unravel the circumstances behind the presence of the human remains in the sacred waters of Tripureshwari temple’s Kalyan Sagar Dighi, the news has sent shockwaves across the state, leaving the community and devotees astounded and seeking answers.

The local authorities remain committed to uncovering the truth behind this unsettling discovery, ensuring transparency and maintaining the sanctity of the holy site, while the community awaits further updates on this mysterious incident.
