Higher Secondary, Secondary, Madrasah Fazil and Madrasah Alim Term-1 result under TBSE was released today. Due to Covid-19 situation, it was decided to conduct the Higher Secondary and Secondary examination in two phases. Therefore, Pass or Fail has not been announced in the Term-1 examination result. Pass or Fail will be announced only after amalgamation of the scores of two phases – Term 1 and Term 2 results, informed President of Tripura Board of Secondary Examination Bhabatosh Saha in a press conference today. He also said, the candidates may find about their exam scores at tbse.tripura.gov.in website but no marksheet will be provided for Term-1 result. Marksheets will be given combining the result of Term-1 and Term-2 results. That is why the result announcement this year is completely different from previous years.

TBSE President informed, education has been affected in 2021-2022 educational year just like in 2020-21 educational year due to Covid-19 situation. Therefore, the board decided in July last year to conduct the Higher Secondary and Secondaryexamination in two phases and the state government gave its consent in September. Higher Secondary and Madrasah FazilTerm-1 examination of TBSE started in December 15, 2021 which ended in January 7, 2022. Whereas Secondary and Madrasah Alim Term-1 examination of TBSE started in December 16, 2021 which ended in December 29, 2021.

This year there were42,282 candidates for Secondary examination including regular, continue, compartmental, external. Among them 20,776 were male candidates and 22,506 were female candidates. There was total 28,931 candidates for Higher Secondary examination. There were 27 Divyangan candidates in Secondary examination and 21 candidates in Higher Secondary examination.He also informed that if everything is alright, then the Term-2 examination will be held on April 18. Others present in the press conference were Secretary of TBSE Dr. Dulal Dey, Deputy Secretary Subhashish Choudhury and other officials.
