Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow for a crucial three-day visit aimed at reviewing the security situation in the region and launching several development initiatives. According to Akashvani Jammu Correspondent, all arrangements for the visit have been finalized.

During his stay, Mr. Shah will interact with security personnel and chair two high-level security review meetings. The meetings, which will be held under the aegis of the Unified Headquarters, are expected to focus on counter-terrorism operations, preventing cross-border infiltration, and enhancing the overall security environment in Jammu and Kashmir. Special attention will also be given to the arrangements and security planning for the upcoming annual Shri Amarnath Yatra.

In addition to security engagements, the Home Minister will also meet with BJP MLAs in Jammu to discuss political and developmental matters. From Srinagar, he is expected to virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of several infrastructure projects worth crores of rupees. These projects are aimed at boosting connectivity, public welfare, and economic growth in the region.

Mr. Shah’s visit comes at a time when the central government is focusing on both strengthening peace in the Union Territory and accelerating development efforts. His engagements over the next three days are anticipated to provide a comprehensive review and policy direction for the region’s future.
