Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Jorasanko Thakurbari, the birthplace of Rabindranath Tagore in Kolkata to participate in Gurudev’s birth anniversary celebrations.
The Home Minister also laid the foundation stone for the 2nd Kargo Gate of the Land Port Authority of India & inauguration of various projects of the BSF, at ICP Petrapole in North 24 Parganas district.
Later today, Mr Shah will release a film Luminaries of Bengal, and inaugurate various projects at the Science City in Kolkata. In the evening, he will attend the birth anniversary celebrations of Tagore at the Science City Auditorium.
